'Adrenalin Junkies' showing my unusual interest in storm chasing

The story behind my connection with unusual weather started quite early with pretty much me out in the worst type of weather, having a great time. Whilst all others were running for cover when the thunderstorms were overhead I usually stood alone and enjoyed every minute of the spectacle!

Later on in my twenties I harvested a growing interest in the science of severe weather and not just the thrill. In 1994 I saw the benefits of joining the Tornado & Storm Research Organisation. It is here that I met with likeminded people and pursued and fulfilled my interest. I was later promoted to executive and undertook coordination of tornado site investigations. I have since moved onto an even stronger interest in forecasting severe weather at an amateur level and now cover as relief forecaster to the organisation. I have since acted as spokesman on several TV news programs and documentaries. I have also helped write the technical script for two recent severe weather documentaries.

My interest in severe weather also takes me storm chasing to the Great Plains in the US most years.
